The place is nice with well appointed huts. The food is very good and the staff very helpful. The location is just superb. Overall a beautiful experience. Not for persons who want modern amenities like TV and Refrigerators etc. It is for people who want to be with themselves or want to spend quality time with their families

“Heaven on Earth”
We were in a group of 10 and had booked our stay through Myoki.in. Our stay was like in jungle overlooking the hills and snow capped peaks! Directly from our cottages, we could see the surrounding valleys. The quality of food added to our vacation and made it more attractive and joyful. We had beyond expectation level of service from the Ayurveda center. Doctor Nair and his wife Aishwarya went out of their way to attend to us, provided consultation along with medication and continues to help us everyday. The yoga center cannot be described in words. Kalmatia is a place to be visited once a year.

“The purpose of visiting Almora was entirely tourism, but it turned entirely health focused, soon after we reached AyurVAID. It was a lifetime experience, very nouve especially for a person whose father owns ‘n’ pharmaceutical (allopathy) works. It was difficult at all to believe the diagnose of Dr.Aishwarya who took care of me from day one. Her patience made me sail procedure of purgation which sounded a nightmare. As the leader so the team, entire staff at AyurVAID is exceptionally considerate, understanding and smiling all the time, not a person with a frown, from the caretaker to the staff at cottage, including the therapist at the Centre. They were willing to take our demand 24 hours, we were given emergency mobile numbers. Words fall short. “We just saw AyurVAID Kalmatia on TripAdvisor and was on a vacation /relaxation mood. So we preferred this place. It came out similar to what we thought. The therapists and the staff here are very polite and well mannered. So we enjoyed the stay here and it was a different experience. “I have been to two other Ayurvedic hospitals, one in Kerala and one in Karnataka and this hospital far surpasses both of them. I made miraculous progress with seemingly intractable digestive issue and debilitating pain in multiple joints. “One day on our television, we saw Vir Sanghvi telling about a place for a nice, good and relaxed vacation in the hills of Almora – AyurVAID Kalmatia. We thought this to be the perfect place for a vacation we were searching for. As expected, the atmosphere at our cottage was very warm and awesome. But, there was also an unexpected place here within the campus – The Hospital. When we hear these words, you may think as if the hospital would be very serious and just to relaxation. But as son as you enter here, your mind takes a 360 degree change-over. The beautiful entrance makes you forget everything. And here, you find two very beautiful and the most positive and always pepped up people in the doctor duo. The therapies or the advices they gave us were very brilliant. We didn’t expect such an environment, but this place had so much more to give us. Now, this place is standing first on our bucket-list forever. We are again planning to come here in October.
